Souvala Beach

The beach of Aegina's second port: sand and stretches of stone along the seafront promenade, with tavernas, cafes and the old thermal baths of Loutra close by.

250 m

Souvala is one of the most practical beaches on Aegina if you are staying in the north of the island or arriving through its second port. It sits right on the seafront promenade, so you have tavernas, cafes and shops a few steps away.

The beach mixes sand with some stretches of stone, and the water is normally calm. The famous thermal springs of Loutra were near here, and they made the village’s name for decades.

It is not the wildest cove on Aegina, but it is a very comfortable option for families and for anyone who wants a swim without straying far from facilities.
