Vagia Beach

A small sandy beach in a quiet fishing village in the north-east of Aegina. Less busy than Agia Marina and easy to combine with a taverna lunch and a visit to the Temple of Aphaia.

220 m

Vagia is a small, pleasant beach in one of the quietest villages in the north-east of Aegina. It has sand, clean water and a far more relaxed feel than Agia Marina in high season.

The setting is still fairly local, with a few tavernas by the sea and low houses around the little harbour. It is a good choice if you want a beach without the noise.

It is also very well placed for combining a swim with a visit to the Temple of Aphaia or the villages in the north of the island.
