Moni Beach

The most popular beach excursion from Aegina: an organised cove on the islet of Moni, with crystal clear water, pine trees, a beach bar and water taxis from Perdika.

pebbles 220 m

Moni is not on the main island of Aegina, but it is one of the most popular beach excursions all the same. It is a few minutes away by boat from Perdika and the atmosphere changes completely: pine trees, very transparent water and the feeling of a wild islet.

The main beach mixes sand with small pebbles and is organised, with sunloungers, a beach bar and shade. It is also known for the peacocks and deer that live on the islet.

If you are after a really complete beach day close to Aegina, Moni is usually one of the best options, especially between late spring and early autumn.
